wrapping up D.C.

so much dc it hurts.

well we are coming home tomorrow, and its not a day too soon.

quick wrap up

National Museum of health: a pain to get to, but well worth the hassle (3 ID checks!)
Museum of Natrual History-well lit, great 3D imax, not as much as new york
Museum of American History-pop culture under renovation .. man thats what I came for.
Museum of the American Indian- Well worth the trip- go see the 14 min. movie *tops*
Museum of Air and Space- Honestly I liked the Annex better, make sure you drive if you have a car though $12 to park per car or $12 per person to ride their bus, on their schedule.
White House tour-self guided, but interesting
Capitol tour-make sure you get an aide from your representative to give you a tour *bonus ride in their personal subway cars!

well thats enough for now, can't wait to get back home!

Chapel Hill

Stayed the night in Chapel Hill with Christian and Linda. We had crepes this morning which were quite yummy. I rolled up some lindonberry and then some cloud berry, and also tried some lime and sugar.

Now we are ready to get back on the road to Washington D.C. --more to come

Yard Sale-ing

Woke up this morning at 5:00AM so that we could start our yard sale this morning.
We got to Dana's around 6:20 and by 6:30 we already had 5 people browsing through our stuff. It's 11:00AM now and we've made around $105. We've started separating things into piles to keep and to give away after the yard sale. It has been fun, but it has been extremely hot today. The bugs are starting to get irritating, and I'm so tired ;)

We are all sitting outside now, I have the wireless on the laptop so we're all good.

Is there some movement out there to destroy libraries??

"In Spokane Someone smashed at least two library computers, smeared ink on the floor and printed an insult directed at Ferris on the wall in the school library."

Oddly Enough News Article | Reuters.com: "Norwegian Princess Leah's name was inspired by a character in a 'Star Wars' movie, the mother of the infant princess was quoted as saying Thursday."

Can you believe this??, Kind of makes the idea of naming our firstborn Chewbacca less sensational...
